News Release

The Toms River Area Chapter of the John Birch Society is hosting an informational presentation open to the general public concerning the dangers and negative impacts of so called “free trade pacts”. The main component of the public information showing is a 20 minute video titled “Stepping Stone to World Government: The Free Trade Area of the Americas” (FTAA). The public meeting will be held on Monday, October 10 between the hours of 6:30 to 8:30 pm. The location will be the Manchester Branch of the Ocean County Library located on Colonial Drive, Manchester.
The FTAA which is a planed regional stepping stone to first, regional government, and eventually world government, is similar to the EU model. The FTAA architects originally had planed to enact the FTAA by early 2005. Fortunately, negotiations had stalled with some South American countries, so the globalist in the United States had resorted to their plan B which was CAFTA. The highly contested CAFTA was enacted in Congress last July by a narrow margin of 2 votes.
