NJ Senator Lautenberg: Concerning Amnesty for illegal Aliens
Our Country Needs To Return To Roots
You may have read by now of the outbreak of civil war in Iraq.  This is a mess created by our governing authorities extricating themselves from the law of the land (U.S. Constitution) and carrying out their global policies at the cost of American liberties and American lives. Benjamin Franklin said, "Those willing to sacrifice liberty for temporary security, deserve neither." and John Quincy Adams said, "America goes not abroad in search of monsters to destroy. She is the well wisher to the freedom and independence of all. She is the champion and vindicator of her own." The response to 9-11 should have been the closure and security of our borders and the deportation of Muslims here illegally or on temporary visas. Instead our President declares Islam a peaceful religion and enters into an undeclared war which can only end in our humiliation and defeat. War cannot be declared against a  concept or tactic. War against poverty, War against drugs, War against terrorism. These are unwinnable wars The duty of our President is to protect and defend our borders and our citizens. This he has failed to do. America, quoting G.K. Chesterton, is the only nation founded on a creed. In short, there is an omniscient, all powerful, creator God who has endowed us with certain unalienable rights, these rights come from God and it is the duty of government to protect and defend these rights.
This nation needs revival and repentance, we need to heed the warnings of judgement and return to our constitutional and biblical roots.

Long Time Resident Opposes Name Change                                                                                                                                  The name change to Toms River is nothing more than another attempt by those who feel they have something to gain by tying Toms River to their home or business. This has been going on since the town has grown by people who moved from their hometown in north jersey or New York to settle here in their adopted home.

For years now we have heard lies that our mail was going to north jersey or fire and police have not been properly dispatched because we have an identity problem. None of that was ever true and the people who pushed that idea, no that. Lets be honest those people who want the name changed want it because they feel they can gain financially.
As a lifelong resident of DOVER TWP. I do not know of a reason why we need to change our name nor form of government for that matter. I know of no longtime resident who wants the name changed unless that is they are moving to a retirement park in Florida.
Why don't we while we are at it change Lacey twp to Forked River
Stafford Twp to Manahawkin.
I could go on and on but I can't type very well.
For the record I live in the PLEASANT PLAINS SECTION of DOVER TWP. When I was younger I lived and spent  somevery happy times in the Village of TOMS RIVER
My family came from Staten Island and moved here in 1961 we lived in Port Richmond in Staten Island Richmond County part of NYC.
 Now that is confusing.

United Natioms plan may cost us our rights                                       I am writing concerning the issue of free trade. I'd like to ask the following questions: If you liked NAFTA and the "giant sucking sound" described by Ross Perot, as manufacturing jobs flowed into cheap-labor countries, you'll love the FTAA, the Free Trade Area of the Americas. This agreement with the United Nations is scheduled to come down the pike early next year for consideration by our Congress. It would make all of North and South America, from Alaska to Cape Horn, one huge political entity, as is the European Union. In other words, the whole Western Hemisphere. If you like open borders, you'll think you're in heaven -- no questions asked and no amnesty required. All borders between countries will be wiped out. If you like paying taxes, you'll love paying them to this monolithic hungry giant. And, wait until you realize what rights you'll have when they are not coming from our Constitution or from our creator. What governments grant can be quickly taken away. Think about it America. Wake up.

Federal Government promoting outsourcing

The Federal Government giving major corporations tax breaks and encouraging these corporations to go overseas to India and Pakistan and many other countries. The Republican Party only seems to be interested doing what's best for corporations, not the American people. Many American workers are getting laid off and being replaced by immigrants for cheap labor, so the CEO's can keep their millions. It's not fair to the American People and it is not fair to the law biding immigrants who just want to come here and make a living. their are a lot of good immigrants and their are the bad immigrants who need be deported and the borders need to be better managed. The American People also need their jobs to help America be competitive in the global market today and off-shoring and outsourcing needs to stop and the H-1b's and illegal immigration need to be controlled. Their is a website dedicated to stopping and monitors companies outsourcing and off-shoring at www.techsunite.org
Sincerely,
Mr. Heinrich Hansell Vicktenburg
